EDAM U Third Thursdays are in full swing!

Come and learn about the Solar Arts Building, a renovated industrial gem located in Northeast Minneapolis – the “Best Arts District in America.”  One of EDAM’s own long time members, Duane Arens, was the developer and building owner.  Come hear how they were able to take an old dilapidated warehouse building and redevelop it into one of the Twin Cities' top venues.

Inside the Solar Arts Building you’ll find Indeed Brewing Company on the first floor; artist studios on the second floor; and on the third floor check out the award-winning Chowgirls and the historic back-bar which once belonged to Johnny Cash and June Carter-Cash! On the outside, you’ll find 109 solar panels fueling the building with eco-power. Get an insider peek as we talk about what it took to revamp this historic building into a thriving cultural space.

Light snacks, beverages, and a drink ticket will be provided.
