LHB Announces Professional Recognitions

Minnesota and Wisconsin; (September 10, 2018) – LHB, Inc. is pleased to announce Becky Alexander, AIA, WELL AP has been named a 2018 Finance & Commerce Rising Young Professional. This honor is presented to outstanding individuals in recognition of notable accomplishments, leadership in the community, and positive outcomes early on in their careers.

Becky is an architect and researcher at LHB where she combines performance services with architectural design. Becky plays a key role in several significant statewide initiatives to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in Minnesota. She is the primary researcher for the Regional Indicators Initiative (RII), a program that tracks annual performance metrics for Minnesota cities. She is also on the management team for the State of Minnesota’s B3 and SB 2030 programs, where she tracks performance metrics and sustainable strategies of State-funded buildings through her work managing the online B3 Case Studies Database.  Becky has been recognized through Midwest Energy News’ “40 Under 40” awards program and by the Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) as one of Minnesota’s Women in Energy for her research and sustainability consulting in building design in support of moving Minnesota towards a clean energy future. Lindsey Kieffaber, AIA
is now licensed in Minnesota as an Architect. Lindsey holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Growth and Structure of Cities and Philosophy from Bryn Mawr College and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota. As a part of LHB’s Integrative Design Team, Lindsey works on a multitude of projects including multi-family housing, LEED certification, higher education, and research grants. Tara Anderson, AIA, CDT
is now licensed in Minnesota as an Architect. Tara holds a bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture both from North Dakota State University. Tara joined LHB in 2015 and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects Northern Minnesota Chapter. Learn more about Tara on LinkedIn:

Krista Pascoe
has been selected to participate in the 2018-2019 Superior Douglas County Leadership Class. Established in 1991, the Superior/Douglas County Leadership Program is an annual program for approximately 25-30 emerging and existing leaders who want to be involved in improving the community and shaping its future. Participants represent a cross-section of the urban and rural communities of Douglas County and have diverse backgrounds and interests.
