The East Grand Forks Economic Development Authority is hiring an Executive Dirctor. Primary responsibilities include Performs complex administrative leadership directing Economic Development Authority (EDA) programs that identify community needs to create, retain, and grow a vibrant business and economic community. Develops and implements plans and programs that create community, support, and accommodate economic growth, and foster tax base growth in East Grand Forks.  Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree with coursework in Business Administration, Community/Economic Development, Public Administration, or other areas of study closely related is required.  Two plus years of experience working in economic development or related field is desired.   Salary Range: $83,621 - $115,523 DOE	  The City offers a competitive salary and fringe benefit package including paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, health and life insurance, retirement plans and flexible benefit plans. The City of Hastings, Minnesota seeks professional concept planning services for an area of approximately 400 acres, generally located along Highway 55 at the western border of the city, consisting of multiple parcels under private ownership. With assistance from City Staff, the selected consultant will perform a market analysis and engage with community members to create a feasibility study and recommendations for development on land at the western edge of the city and beyond its current borders (map attached). The information provided in the study will be a reference for policymakers and staff for future decisions and discussions as private landowners express interest in development and entering the city limits.
