Get ready for a summer afternoon that blends creativity, community, and entrepreneurship!

Join EDAM on July 16 for our summer networking event inside the iconic Casket Arts Building in Northeast Minneapolis. From 3–5 pm, artists Brendan Kramp, Halle Rittgers, and her talented studiomates will welcome us into their working spaces for a behind-the-scenes tour of what it means to create, collaborate, and build a business in one of the most historic artist hubs in the region. Discover why these makers choose to root their work in NE Minneapolis—the camaraderie, the shared expertise, the vibrant entrepreneurial energy, and the magic that happens when creatives thrive together under one very historic roof.

After the tour, we’ll continue the conversation at Earl Giles Distillery for a 5 pm happy hour, where EDAM will provide food, and drinks will be available for purchase on your own. It’s the perfect chance to deepen connections, spark new ideas, and celebrate the spirit of artistic entrepreneurship.

The afternoon looks like this: 
3:00pm – Arrival
3:15pm – Break into groups and tour the two spaces
4:00pm – SWITCH spaces
4:30pm – Network and meander the spaces on your own
5:00pm – Depart the Casket Arts Building and head to Earl Gilles

Cost: $30 EDAM members / $40 non-members

CANCELLATION & SUBSTITUTION:

Cancellations must be received by July 9, 2026 to receive a refund. No-shows will also be billed. If you are no longer able to make it after the cancellation deadline, you may send someone in your place.
