Welcome to the Economic Development Association of Minnesota online.
EDAM is a nonprofit professional association of individuals and organizations throughout the state of Minnesota dedicated to the advancement of the economic development profession.
EDAM was formed as the Minnesota Industrial Development Association in 1967 to provide development professionals a forum for exchanging information and staying abreast of current economic development strategies and practices. Since then, the organization has been highly successful in providing economic developers with valuable networking and educational opportunities. EDAM members are leading economic developers in the state of Minnesota. EDAM consults with the state on public policy issues related to economic development, and helps continually define and improve the profession.

 2009-2010 EDAM Directory will Include Member Photos!
As you know we are currently planning on including member photos in the 2009-2010 member directory and resource guide which will be published in June. We decided that the addition of photos would help members get to know/remember each other and help facilitate networking. We currently have photos for about 17% of the membership. Staff and the Communications Committee has discussed and decided that anything less than a third would likely result in us holding off until next year to work on this new layout. So, we are making one last appeal to all of you who have not yet submitted a photo.
If you have a quality-resolution head-shot (250 kb or larger) please fill out the online form and submit your photo.
If you do not have a headshot and would still like a photo included please have one taken and upload it to the website by April 17, 2009.
We need at least one-third of the membership to participate to include photos, so your help is greatly appreciated!
