Community economics educators partner with community members to lead economic transformation. Our goal is to help communities create a positive economic climate.

A primary focus area for this educator position will be on using economic impact assessments and related data to assist local communities in guiding economic change. This position, through collaboration with an Extension specialist, will expand on a successful economic impact program, particularly by developing engagement models tailored for city and county governments. This role will involve in-person and virtual teaching, conducting community-based research, and community coaching.

This educator will be in the Rochester Regional Extension office and will primarily serve a region of 16 counties in southeast Minnesota. Nearly every community is within 100 miles of Rochester.
