The Hutchinson Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Executive Director.  This position reports to and operates under the direction of the Hutchinson Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners.  The Executive Director implements the HRA’s strategic goals/ objectives, administers its programs and activities and oversees all operations to insure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.  

Responsibilities include planning, program and policy preparation and administration; financial, records, asset, and property management; grant writing and other funding activities; and human resources management. 

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in business, real estate, public administration, or related field and 5 years relevant experience; demonstrated experience in housing management, community development, public administration or a closely related field; and 2 years of supervisory experience. Must possess the National Development Council (NDC) Housing Development Finance Professional (HDFP) Certification within four years of employment.  Preferred qualifications include Master’s Degree or coursework in related field and 7 years of experience.
Current salary range is $78,499 -$117,769.

The Program Support Assistant is part of the Community & Economic Development team at the Dakota County Community Development Agency (CDA). The CDA administers over 30 programs to enhance the economic vitality of Dakota County. The Community & Economic Development team has a variety of functions that promote affordable community, housing and economic development. Programs assisting homebuyers and homeowners include first time homebuyer education and financing, downpayment assistance, home improvement loans, and weatherization grants. 

The Program Support Assistant will provide support specifically for the Weatherization and Home Improvement Loan programs. Tasks will include: creating and maintaining client and contractor databases, processing applications, processing payment requests from utility companies, and assisting with insurance and loan documents. This position will also provide general administrative and clerical support duties, assist with data entry and/or document imaging, prepare correspondence and provide program information, and other duties as assigned. This position will also provide back-up capacity for other office support positions throughout the agency, including coverage for the front information desk.  	 

Hiring Range: $17.09 - $21.36 per hour (DOQ)

This supervisory position oversees a variety of government-funded housing programs including the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), Housing Counseling (Homeownership Programs), and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).
