How long have you been a member of EDAM? 20 years
What do you find valuable about belonging to EDAM? The people! EDAM has the best of the best people.
What is something you are passionate about or a hobby you really enjoy? I love supporting emerging professionals! My hobbies include reading, watching drama tv shows, gardening, and spending time with my friends and family.
Share an interesting fact about yourself that few of your fellow EDAM members may know. I am taking my first trip to the Boundary Waters this year. And if you know me - you know this is a MASSIVE deviation from my comfort zone and personality. Wish me luck. ;)
What's the greatest advice a mentor has given you? Never burn a bridge and always be willing to do the small tedious work. Doing "grunt" work gives you the greatest perspective for when you are in a position of leadership or influence.
Who inspires you or who would you consider to be your hero? Why? I am inspired by many people. The greatest character trait I am inspired by is authenticity. Being with someone you can trust is important. Being around someone that allows you to make mistakes and moves forward with you in kindness is a person I want to be around often.
What's your favorite place in the world? If different, where is your happy place? Right now I love spending time on my deck with coffee or wine and a book. So beautiful and so peaceful.
What's a bucket list concert for you? I want to go see Pink!
Other than your current job, what would your dream job be? I would to do something with coffee or wine or work at Eagle Brook Church.
When your name is called for karaoke, what song do you pick? I do not love karaoke - so I would probably run.
Do you collect anything? How did you get started collecting it? No. I like to throw things away - not collect. ;)
What's the most recent book you read? Would you recommend it? Where the Crawdads Sing. Fantastic book.
What are you currently watching on Netflix or another streaming service? Virgin River (lord help me...haha)
Pop or soda? Hotdish or casserole? Duck, duck, gray duck or duck, duck, goose? Packers or Vikings? Crunchy or creamy? Sweet or salty? Water. Hotdish. Gray Duck. Tom Brady - whatever team he is on ;) Creamy. Salty.
